Joe’s Stone Crab is a must-see location for its local history alone. The restaurant has been operating at 11 Washington Avenue since 1913, serving local, Florida fresh seafood. Known as a celebrity hot spot, many historic celebrities like Al Capone and Amelia Earhart have visited. As one of the oldest and still one of the best restaurants in SoFi, noteworthy dishes include the spicy chowder, lobster, key lime pie, and, of course, the crab legs.
Prime 112 at 112 Ocean Ave. is a popular steakhouse frequented by a large celebrity and supermodel clientele. This restaurant has a party atmosphere complete with a luxurious menu, large reservation list, and quick patio seating. There are several items on the menu large enough to share, with the truffled macaroni and cheese or the lobster bisque as popular dishes.
Smith & Wollensky is a very popular steakhouse located at 1 Washington Ave. This location has a magnificent view with seating along the waterway, great for sunset drinks at the back bar. The waterfront locale is a draw for tourists, visitors, and residents alike. Menu highlights include the prime rib and the chocolate layer cake.
